Bloody highway robbery!

Why have my delicious Pon de Rings gone up in price? They used to be 100 yen on sale, 105 yen on a regular day. How can I possibly afford to pay 126 yen for one itsy bitsy Pon de Ring? I mean I might as well just downgrade myself to a chocolate coconut ring for 115 yen! At least I'll have change leftover to buy myself a real meal. I look at McDonald's 100 yen menu and think to myself, gee, now that makes a heck of a lot more sense than 126 yen. I can get myself an apple pie for just 100 yen! And save the 26 yen to use in the dollar store when the tax adds up to something annoying like 416 yen! Who carries around 16 stray yen? Thanks to Pon de Rings now being unaffordable, that would be me!

And now I shall begin my Pon de Ring diet. It's nothing but apple pies and cheeseburgers for me from now on!

My chocolatey mane

I can't believe that some people would actually try to eat my chocolatey mane! Why would somebody want to hurt my precious chocolate frills? And my sweet friends are always being dipped into fresh hot coffee. It's just too cruel to watch them being dunked in and then devoured, bite by bite. Sometimes, it's hard being a Pon de Lion. Maybe I should try my luck as a pop star instead of a scrumptiously delicious donut.

Here there be Pon de Lions

Last night, I had a dream. That dream was of Pon de Lion - the great, magestic, sugar-coated treat of a friend that sleeps by my pillow. What, I wonder, is Pon de Lion doing now? As I work, is he tearing through the fridge in search of a late night snack? Or perhaps, he is surfing through the TV channels, hoping to find a video with all of his little sweet friends dancing in blissfully sweet, sugar land.

What are you doing now, Pon de Lion? I can only wonder... and return my focus on other less mundane things in your absence.
